Being a surgeon creates an incredibly intense and intimate relationship with your patients. It is an honor and a privilege to be trusted in such a way, and extremely rewarding to be able to use your skill-set to change someone life for the better. Being able to help someone or save someone not only positively impacts that person, but can have a profound effect on their families and communities.
