Janice’s Answer

Hi Karoline-
Working in a hospital can be very rewarding and challenging. A hospital is a very busy institution. The primary responsibility of the institution is to provide quality health care. There are many departments in a hospital, both clinical and business. Interfacing with the various departments provides optimal patient care. Consider shadowing an employee working in a hospital. Additionally, a hospital provides 24 hour coverage so you may want to work various shifts (days, evening, nights). The routines may vary for each shift as well. You will meet many employees and patients working in a hospital and develop many relationships. Good luck!

Anand’s Answer

Hi...Working in a hospital is a very noble thing. However, one has to be mentally tough and courageous enough to sail through. This is because there is more pain in a hospital environment than any other place. Additionally working hours are irregular because it is not completely in your hands as how much would you want to work there. Also, it depends in which department of a hospital would you be interested in. At the end, if not money you will at least get blessings of people.
