Judy’s Answer
There are dentists, dental assistants, dental hygienists, and dental technologists. The term dental nurse to me is a registered nurse (graduate of nursing school) that went to work for providers and got experience in oral surgery, maxillofacial surgery, etc. Usually this includes in assisting with surgery or anesthesia. Perhaps there is an educational program specifically for this now but none that I am aware of at this time. Good luck with it, Judy

Hi Paola, if you want to be a dental nurse, I would recommend you to study the dental assistant program. Both community colleges and private colleges have this program, and if you can take the license exam after graduating from school, it would help a lot for your career and better salary.
