I would advise you to take Advanced Placement and Dual Credit courses. Both of these types of courses can strengthen your knowledge of your core curriculum and studies. They will also give you a head start with gaining college credit while in highschool.

Hi Sylvia! Great question! So AP classes are definitely a great help, I would recommend AP bio, AP chem and AP physics as well. These classes will help introduce you to college based sciences you are going to take when on the premed path (the path you take in college before medical school that requires you to take certain premedical classes). If you take the AP exam and do well you can also receive credits and transfer them allowing you to progress in college. In addition my high school offered anatomy as well so that could also be interesting in a variety of ways, you can start with AP classes as early as sophomore year I believe and if there are any science clubs to join that concentrate on medical or close to topics that would also help in getting you prepared and be active as well!
Best of luck!
