Is the acting field the hardest?

I'm a high school senior and I will be attending The Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the fall. I've always wanted to be an actress since I was 6 and I always wanted to be the Meryl Streep of my generation. I just want to follow my dreams no matter the obstacles in my way and I just want to know if I am too far over my head. #actor #theater #drama

It's tough. There is no denying that. But that should not discourage you. You will need patience and determination as much as talent. And, I would also throw in a bit of luck.

Acting, and any art form, is something you never stop learning, studying and growing into. It is a life-choice.

Do you want to be Meryl for fame and fortune or talent or recognition? Her talent took hard work, patience and determination. Luck and opportunity had a hand in the rest.
