what is the most difficult task of being a nurse practitioner and a ER nurse?

I'm attending college this fall and I've had experience with nursing through volunteer work so I always thought the hardest thing would be getting attached to the patient and not in a weird way but mostly like in a nurturing way as you spend so much time with them so I wanted to know from a different point of view if there were more difficult tasks other then that #doctor #medicine #nurse #healthcare #pre-med #emergency-medicine #icu-nurse #nurse-majors #hospital-and-health-care

Abuse cases are horrible. I find that to be the most difficult part of being a nurse.

I agree not having lots of time to engage with patients was hard for me in the emergency room. Another difficult task is acting quickly when a patient starts changing status as a new nurse. That gets easier with time, experience, good foundational training and unit support.
