Wael’s Answer

Be open to other cultures and go with no expectations. Accept and respect their ideas and try to understand where it comes from. Don't feel that you are obligated to do something you are not comfortable with or goes against your ideals. They have to respect your culture like you respect theirs.

Grace’s Answer

I was also a Psychology major and I studied abroad my junior year of college - it was one of the best experiences I had! Studying abroad allows you to get school credit while having unmatched opportunities to travel, learn about other cultures, meet new friends, and (depending on where you study) expand your language skills. I am eternally grateful for the travel opportunities I had all over Europe during my time studying abroad and I saw many things I might not otherwise have a chance to visit once you start working and having a family and life gets busy. If you have the opportunity, take it! I got credits for two Psychology classes towards my major, an Art History class towards my minor, and a fourth class for fun!
