How difficult is it to find a job in ultrasound?

I know where I'm going to college and I know I will have some of the best resources for learning ultrasound, but I'm worried about finding a job after, mainly because I stress about interviews. #college #job #interviews #help #ultrasound

Hi Shadiah!

While I don't know where you are going to college, often times Ultrasound programs will have practical experience portions to the program, meaning you will be doing ultrasounds on real live patients! This is a great time to talk to professionals about their career path, tips they might have for interviewing well, and its a great way to start making professional connections. Use all of the resources you have on a college campus, including peers, professors, internship coordinators, career services for students etc. I would also suggest practicing interviewing with a career counselor or someone you feel comfortable around (you can find examples online) so that you feel more comfortable about your interviewing skills.

Best of luck to you!

Hey Shadiah,
Ultra sound is a pretty in demand career! I get nervous with interviews too, so I understand where you are coming from. Try to practice with a friend or family member. Try looking up possible interview questions for and Ultra Sound Tech. You should be able to find some common questions that will help you prep. Best of luck to you!
