Students may work as phlebotomists as a way to gain experience in the healthcare industry, but also, people may work as phlebotomists as their life-long careers. Most hospitals and healthcare groups hire phlebotomists, so you could have a very supportive career as a phlebotomist. Additionally, if you are good at phlebotomy and enjoy it, the job would be great for you because it's the same skill day in and day out. That being said, phlebotomists tackle exciting challenges every day, because all patients and all veins are different.
I received my phlebotomy certificate through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) which is a national certification. I was able to quickly find a mobile phlebotomy job at U.S. Laboratories (TridentCare), who is always hiring new phlebotomists without experience. Phlebotomy is my favorite medical skill.

When looking at careers that a person has to make sure it is something they are passionate about. A person may take a role that pays a lot but not be motivated to do the work since money is not so much of a factor. With the recent unemployment issues and in the past those that focused on money found out that it was careers they were not interested in or did not know of jobs to get within the field,
