Study or learn what you enjoy the most. Don't follow what others think you should do. Follow what you think you can do and have passion for it.
If you are unsure/undecided on it, think what you enjoyed the most in 10th, 11 and 12th standard. You may like computer games, dancing, social service, debates etc. Find what you are good at and comes naturally to you.
Pursue your study around that subject. For e.g. If you like computer games, have you ever wondered how are they built, who builds computer games, find out more and you will like something that is done. learn more about it. you will find something that will set you up for future study

Hi Suma!
I guess you are asking what to major in college? Assuming you are looking at engineering fields, I think it really just depends on what industry you want to get into and what you want to do in that industry. Do you like working with wires and circuit boards? Than electrical engineering is probably for you. Do you like getting your hands dirty working with big machinery or pipes? Than mechanical engineering if probably for you. Do you like doing research and investigating how to fix diseases? Than biomedical engineering is probably for you.
You can go by this in many different ways and I think it only just matters what you are passionate about. Good luck!
