I love being a branch manager, as it is very fulfilling and requires a comprehensive skill set, including people management, risk assessment, problem solving and math, just to name a few. Without a college education, usually a person would start at entry level (ie. teller)and move up from there; definitely want to ask for learning and growth opportunities regularly. Some financial institutions have a management training program that requires at least a bachelors degree.

Most larger banks offer management training programs. Usually you need a college education. If it is in finance or business that will help with your general understanding. Good luck!
