Jeanne,
Congratulations on your degrees and interests.
There are many job opportunities in Hospitality/Tourism and General Studies. Many restaurant chains, such as Bloomin Brands (Outback, Carrabbas, etc...), Darden (Olive Garden, etc..) have corporate jobs in addition to the typical server/hostess. Human resources, marketing, IT are a few examples. I suggest you start with a search engine websites like "Indeed" and select Hospitality and you will see there are so many options available to you. Your degrees provide an excellent baseline of skills, so make sure you include any previous jobs/internships on your resume.
Research Hospitality industry on job search websites
Update your resume to include any previous experience in hospitality
Interview and find an excellent job.

The world is open to you, just because you have a degrees in Hospitality / Tourism/General Studies does not mean that you must pursue a career in that field. That being said, Event Coordinator is one area you may want to in consider. Florida has a wealth of opportunity. Look on Disney website for career and mentor opportunities. Clearwater Chamber of Commerce would be a good local place to start to use your new skills.

But lets talk about the real concern here, "shy". Introversion just means you need to prepare yourself a little. Get a resume together, always have one with you, you never know when an opportunity will arise.
Visit here and see if you can become active in community boards https://amplifyclearwater.com/
If you think you may be interested in a company, but are unsure. Call them and ask if you can have 30 minutes of someones time.Being an introvert myself, it is all about putting yourself out there. Prepare questions in advance, the first steps are nerve racking but you got this. You committed to several years of learning. Now commit to yourself.

Hi Jeanne - Great job!
Almost any field can benefit from great customer service. The studying that you have done for hospitality can also translate into property management. If you think about it, the interaction and care that you give a hotel guest and or vacationer for 1 night is just as important as the attention and care given to a tenant (commercial or residential) over the term of their lease.
You the know the saying - "you get one time to make a first impression?" That is true in any field you choose, especially when working with the public....which we all do in some form.
I hope this helps when expanding your search

Hi Jeanne, if you’re not finding jobs in the area of your studies or if you’ve decided that you want to work in another field, I encourage you to consider what skills, knowledge and competencies your degree prepared you for AND what you love to do. For example, if you are strong in organizational skills and learned about customer service in your degree program, you can consider jobs that involve a customer (internal or external- every job has a customer) that also requires organizing. This could be a project coordinator role or an executive assistant, for instance.
List your passions
List your competencies
Apply to jobs that have 50% or greater match to the above two lists.
