Interior Design is offered as 4-year degree, ideally in a CIDA accredited program:

A degree will prepare you for the career, especially if you want to become a licensed interior designer and work at an architecture firm.
There are 2-year associate degrees available for support roles that will require additional working hours to be eligible to sit for the licensing exam, should you be interested. If you're considering this path, look into programs at your local community college.
