What universities offer a good engineering program?
I have been doing research on aerospace engineering and I think this is a possible career path for myself. I would like some advice on what colleges I could attend specifically for aerospace engineering. #college #engineering

US News.com offers good rankings for specific colleges and engineering programs (http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-engineering-schools/aerospace-rankings). They use many factors to rank based on student satisfaction, graduation rates, graduation salaries, alumni donations, etc. Based on this list, the top aeronautical eng programs are at MIT, Georgia Institute of Tech, and U Mich.
I would also consider applying to a very strong general engineering school and specify your major later. You can see a list of very small engineering schools here: http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/engineering . This gives you the option of switching majors later.
There are many options outside of the top 10 from US News. The good news is, you don't have to go to a top engineering school to get a good engineering degree. It's important in your undergraduate to learn the fundamentals of engineering and then focus as you proceed in your career or future studies.
I hope that helps!
