Hi Cole,
Different colleges have different strengths. You can come up with a list of colleges depending on your interests and preferred areas of study. After you narrow down your list to the colleges that mainly focus on your interested areas, then you can choose the one that you think will be the best fit for you. As mentioned in Alex's answer, a great way to learn more about a college is to visit the place (virtually in the current situation) and get as much information as possible.
Best of luck in your applications!

Hi Gizmen, this is great advice! The student is interested in becoming an aircraft mechanic, do you have suggestions on where they would begin searching for colleges with this program?

Hey Cole,
Always a difficult question to answer.
I would recommend, if possible, to try and visit as many college's as you can on their open days to try and get a feel for the place. Challenging in a pandemic, I know. Colleges at the moment are offering virtual tours, so please try and join those if you can. This will give you a real understanding of the culture, facilities and studies on offer. You will also get an opportunity to see what other activities outside of your education they may offer too.
