Greetings Shay My answer is any book suggested books recommended by your professors. You will get your fill for reading. But also I might suggest a book that makes you laugh because you will be reading about real life you need something to balance once in a while.
I hope this helps. May you have a prosperous life in the name of Jesus

For study materials, what worked best for me was alot of notebooks, pens and highlighters. I am someone who studies better alone. I would read through the outlines the instructors passed out. Read the text for that week highlighting important areas, then rewrite them in a notebook. Take copious notes in class. Rewrite those as well as reading through them. The instructors will give you plenty on what to study, you likely should stick to what they are focusing you on. A manual blood pressure cuff of your own to practice with, scissors, a stethoscope ( don't get the most expensive one, these things get lost especially when you are a student, and an "adscope" will work great for a couple years.) Good luck to you! Never stop learning

Hi shay- Most colleges will have a curriculum to follow in specialized programs. You would need to adhere to the material in the course and possibly get any suggested materials/books that are outside of the class content. But if you are asking about how to study, this is a little different. If a studying habit you obtained in high school has worked for you, then I would not change anything. Don't fix something that isn't broken as they say. If you struggled with your studying habits at school, then you will need to switch it up. I do my best, when it is quite and I'm alone with no distractions. I'm not saying this works for everyone but it does for me. You will have to find a study environment that works for you. I hope this answers your question.
