Is it best, when pursuing a nursing degree, to go to a university or community college?
I plan on attending a community college, and major in nursing, looking to see which path would be better for me community college nursing program or university nursing school. #nursing #nursing-schools

Nikita,
I'm a huge proponent of the Community College RN route for so many reasons. However, the trends are leaning toward the BSN becoming the degree of choice and more and more we see healthcare institutions requiring the BSN. In addition, the projections and trends for Advanced Practice Nursing is steadily rising. If you pursue your RN degree have a plan to keep it moving till you have your BSN. You can start working and gain experience while taking advantage of the many online programs that offer RN to BSN OR RN to MSN. Either way, there's a demand for nurses and that won't change!
Best of luck!!
