Is it a good idea to work out of the country after college?
I want travel and exploration of other cultures to be part of my career, but I don't know how necessarily easy it would be for me to do that as a broke college student. What are your recommendations? thank you! #travel #financial-aid #international-affairs

I am very biased when it comes to advocating for travel, as traveling has been the highlight of my life so far. Not having much of an income can reduce travel opportunities but there still are chances. Often, transportation is the most expensive part. If you are willing to do a little bit of work in your country of destination, staying somewhere is often very inexpensive (depending on the country of course.)
Workaway.info is a website where individuals can search for work opportunities in countries all over the world. The stipulation is often that food and shelter is provided and that the volunteer cannot be worked more than 5 hours in a day.
The opportunities range from agriculture work, renovating hostels, teaching English, and sometimes just living in an area so that hosts can practice language with you or share culture. If you have a cultural preference or work preference you can filter the search and look for specific things such as "English Teaching - South America - Ecuador" and search specifically for opportunities in that area. There are other search engines out there but Workaway has been the best I've used so far. Definitely get out and see the world while you have the health and the time!
