Is become a pediatrician hard because of the children you see daily?

I really like kids and although I would like to help them I don't know if the benefits of helping them would outweigh the stress and hardship of the job. #doctor #pediatrics #pediatrician

Congratulations on thinking of entering the medical field! Just like you- I was afraid that I would never be able to work with children because I bought it would be too sad or stressful. However- now I am a pediatric nurse! The thing about children that you will learn is that they are so much more resilient than adults. Children get sick like us, but they bounce back so much more quickly. And they are such a joy to be around, and it feels really good when you are able to help them. Most children are healthy, and you will not have to be near horrible outcomes frequently unless you worked with cancer patients, etc. I would seriously recommend looking forward to becoming a pediatrician! Good luck!
