Maria’s Answer

Hi
Once you apply for the MCAT it comes with STUDY guidelines.
If you can afford it there are some great review courses.
I regret not taking them since I scored very high on my major (chemistry) but average in the others.
I still got into medical school but I think my GPA, my recommendations and my extracurricular volunteer work helped me more than my MCAT.
Best wishes!

I found the Kaplan review excellent however this was many years ago! Look into multiple certified prep tests and see which course fits your personal study and time needs! There’s many options for prep courses!

Richard’s Answer

Devote an entire summer to studying for the MCAT and consider paying for a prep course if you can afford it.

My son used this set from Amazon and it was about $140:

I recommend the Princeton Review MCAT prep course. It tells you exactly what you need to know and provides many practice exams to test your knowledge.
