To be honest, you need to take the required courses (pre-requisites) for your Nursing school. There aren’t specific courses you need to take to be a neonatal RN. You’ll learn your foundations in Nursing school and once you graduate you can get certifications to support that specialty of choice.

You will need to take the required pre-nursing courses to get into a nursing program (ADN or BSN). Most of these classes are science based, such as A/P, (Anatomy/Physiology) Biology, English, and sometimes even a general ed thrown in the mix like math or statistics.
The best grades you can get will help you get in, also I believe most programs now require the HESI exam or entrance exam.
Good luck!

Follow your nursing degree plan. You won't need specific classes if you plan to enter neonatal nursing after graduation.
