what degrees do baseball players get

I want to be a baseball player and i dont know what to do #baseball

Thank you comment icon YOu want a degree you can fall back on should you get hurt or injured. If you can't decide, business or communications degrees are decent and can lead you in many directions. Good luck M Schwartz

Doris’s Answer

You should consider looking into a subject/degree that you are passionate about and pursue that. Think of your degree as something you can use as a default or your Plan B once you complete your baseball career :)

That sounds like fun Juan. The first thing you need to do is to join your school team and train as hard as you can. Hopefully by the end of highschool you would get a sports based scholarship to join a university. At that point you would start playing college baseball. Regarding the degree, you can join any major you are interested in.

M’s Answer

Many of the minor league baseball players never make it to the big leagues. If they have a good support system around them, they get their associates degree while playing ball. This can be done online at numerous places. If you are unsure what to study, take the general requirements (normally 60 credits). At that point, you can always get a general business or general studies degree to have something.

Good luck
