Should I major in Education and Medicine at the same time? Is it too much work?
I am a junior in high school who loves to teach kids, I have been tutoring and teaching my peers and children outside of school as well. But I would love to go into medicine as well and become a Pediatrician. #medicine #teaching #teacher #college-major #education #career-paths #pediatrician

You definitely can major in medicine and education at the same time. At most schools, "medicine" is itself not a major. Rather, people are "pre-med" but have a different major, like biology or chemistry. Then, they take pre-med classes that are required to get accepted to a medical school. So you could technically be an education major but be "pre-med" and just make sure you take the classes that you will need for medical school.
That being said, though, why do you need to major in education if you are interested in being a pediatrician? You can always continue to mentor and teach kids while in college without having to major in education. I would only do that major if you actually want to be a teacher.
