Most studies and anecdotal reports suggest that communication skills are the most important and most requested competency for business and organizations. Of course, there are lots of ways to enter the field of business; majoring in business may be a good place to start to become familiar with all it entails and then after you're knowledgeable about the basics, start focusing on the type of business you're interested in building.

My advice to you would be to try to experiment and find what you really are interested in through exploration. One resource worth checking out is Gradmor.com, they have tons of interviews with people from different business careers and you can set up a conversation with a professional in the field you might be interested in. You can additionally talk to some of your college career advisors for guidance as well.

Business, Communications, IT, Economics, Psychology, or Mathematics. Your major is less important if you end up getting a graduate degree or certification.
