I want to be a Forensic Pathologist, but I don't know if I can handle the gore, what can I do?

This is a very subjective issue. I will tell you what I did when I was considering forensics. I contacted the local law enforcement and asked to speak to whoever performed those functions and then set up a meeting with them. I then had a discussion with them on what they do, what they run into and how they cope.
So with this I would see if there is a pathologist in your area who would meet with you and chat and maybe even set up a tour of their work place. That way you would have some idea if it was something you could deal with long term.
