When applying to college what should I look for to decide which is best?

I am looking into several universities and I wanted to know which details I should look at to make sure I am getting the best education I can. #college #graduate #academic-advisor

I would focus on the schools that have a good program for your major. I would also look at cost and location -- in state vs. out of state, proximity from home, and where can you get the most for your money. I would also talk to other students at the schools your considering -- they can give you the best perspective on the environment and if it's a fit for you. Best of luck!

I would look at how they are ranked according to the major you are interested in. Also, I would be interested in the competitions they compete in. For example, I would be very interested in joining a university with good competing record in Formula SAE. Moreover, location might be something you should look into. Living close to home has its advantages. Also, you have to compare these universities from a financial point of view. That includes tuition, living expenses, rent, transport, the flight home, ... Lastly, it is best to go to college close to the industry you are interested in.
