Laura’s Answer

Yes! You will most likely work a couple days a week, not everyday. For example, you could work 3 12-hour shifts a week. Your work days will rotate as well. You can definitely work around this schedule and have a great work-life balance.

Estelle’s Answer

Yes, Takaylynn. OB nurses usually work 8 or 12 hour shifts in the hospital. They have set schedules; therefore, they can definitely make time for family.

Jason’s Answer

An OB nurse will either work in a OB office or work shifts at a hospital. You would work a normal schedule. Depending on your employer, you may get regular and predictable shifts, or they may rotate. Either way, you are not getting calls in the middle of the night, that's for the OB/GYN MD.
Very much a nice career for work life balance.
