What is it really like to be a pharmacist? Is it boring? Do you feel like you're doing something rewarding? Is it worth the money?
A lot of people have told me to go into pharmacy, but I'm worried about feeling like it's a non-rewarding job, as well as messing up someone's prescription and potentially bringing them harm. - I'm a bit of a mess in science (chemistry and biology) lab classes. #medicine #biology #chemistry #pharmacy #pharmacists

1st let me say, you are asking a good question. It's something you should ask of any career. To answer this question for yourself I would suggest you spend time in a pharmacy. See if you can shadow a pharmacist for a few days.
As for messing up a prescription...there isn't a person in the medical field who doesn't worry about this. Yes it's always a worry, but you cannot decide your future by only looking at negatives. You must always take stock of the positives. This job can be rewarding. The reward you get though will be determined by what field interesets you most. The best way to see that is by trying to see these fields for yourself. My suggestion is this: local stores are easy to access. If your family uses a local store, preferably not a chain, tall to the pharmacist there and see if you can watch them for a few days. For hospital try to call the local hospital and ask for the in house pharmacy. Tell them what you are looking to do and see if they could help you shadow them. Might take a little longer as the hospital will have to get approval to get you in for legal reasons. Last, see if there is a manufacturer close to you in your state and call their customer service or public relations department. They might have programs available to help. Sorry for the long answer but you deserve to get the best possible info to make a good decision for your life. GOOD LUCK and BEST WISHES
