Are there many scholarships and grants to go to pharmacy school?

I am about to enter my junior year in college as a chemistry major, and I am unsure if I'll be able pay for the program without obtaining a huge amount of death. I have seen many scholarships opportunities for medical students, but not for pharmacy students. Are there limited competitive scholarships for going to pharmacy schools? #students #pharmacists #admissions #experts

The honest answer is pharmacy school is expensive and you are going to have a lot of debt. When you are accepted to pharmacy school I recommend to apply to their scholarships. Since there is a smaller pool of applicants you will have a better chance of getting a scholarship. Also, my acceptance included a partial scholarship as well. You may also want to look into public service loan forgiveness (PSLF) programs if you are interested in working in underserved areas after you graduate. I will say be cautious with this option if you are undecided about your career interests because if you do not fulfill your obligation to work in an underserved area for 10 years you will have to pay the money back. Good luck on your journey!
