Pamela’s Answer

Yes! College will be some of the best times of your life. You will learn so much, across multiple subject areas and will meet so many people which will be the base of your career network. If you are worried about money being an issue, a great option might be to attend a community college for two years to help with the cost. I would also look into financial aid or scholarship opportunities. College is a great time to help you figure out your interests and will expose you to several resources to help find the a job post graduation. Campus life is also great since there are so many opportunities to get involved with things that interest you (sports, arts, clubs, etc). Also, in today's market, a bachelor's degree is necessary to make you marketable in the workforce. Although college is a huge financial burden, if you can make it work, you will not regret it!

Best of luck!

Michal’s Answer

Hi Jesus
i would highly recommend it to go. I imagine that you are young and impatient to start your own life. College might appear to be in the way of being independent with a job, your own home without parents and all the rest that independence brings. Try to look at it from perspective that you will postpone your independence for 3,4,5 years but will gain a degree that will stay with you your whole life. And thats a good bargain for you in the end. When you will be older those 5 years will not appear to you as such a big sacrifice as they might now.

And money-wise its a good investment too. If thanks to college you will earn only 10% more than you would without cumulatively during your lets say 45 years lasting professional life it will compensate with high probability for the debts you might get into today.
good luck
Michal
