What qualifications do you seek in a new hire?

I personally always look for enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Also, it is very good to be good at working with others, handling stressful situations and being computer savvy. Flexibility and reliability are also very important.
People in the medical field need to be very comfortable with technology and good with people (sick people are not always at their best and need patience and understanding) and also need to be able to deal with other staff who are having a hard time dealing with those things at times
It is good to go into it with personal examples of situations you have handled stress, approached others when there was an issue, and dealt with difficult patients. Also it is good to let them know you are not afraid of new technology
