Hey Destiny, becoming an FBI agent is an honorable and incredibly meaningful aspiration to pursue. The FBI application process is exceptionally lengthy, challenging, and involves a deep examination of who you are as a person, both physically and mentally.
For the physical aspect, maintaining a healthy-lifestyle and staying active will play a huge part in allowing you to be successful in passing the rigorous physical testing. There are many resources online that can give you hints as to what to expect in the physical examination process so you can better prepare well in advance.
The most challenging portion of the FBI application process; however, is the non-physical piece. This is the part that takes into consideration your life experiences and your overall well-being. Now everyone will have a different path in life, and the FBI appreciates and respects those differences, so there isn't any single "best" path. The most important thing is to do is choose one, be intentional about why you chose that journey, and do your absolute best. Whether that may be joining your school sports team, becoming an active and influential member in a club, or performing amazingly academically. The question you will want to continually ask yourself along that journey is why am I doing this and am I giving it my "all".
What you take from your life experiences will eventually make sense once you start the process of becoming an FBI agent. The key is to experience as much as you can in life with intent, meaning, and purpose. And don't be discouraged if you ever fail during the process. Many do. It is what you do with that failure that will ultimately set you apart from the rest, enabling you to become a positive, influential and meaningful contributor to the World, Agent or not. You can't lose either way.
Best of luck on your journey.
Establish career goals and identify the competencies and traits to be successful as a FBI Agent
Outline the life experiences you will pursue in order to enhance or develop those competencies
Live and maintain a healthy and active life-style
Surround yourself with people who aspire to their potential and make you a better person overall

Wonderful choice Destiny, I encourage you to follow your dream! I was an FBI Agent for 22 years, and am so glad I chose that path. You’re young, but it’s never too early to start planning! I echo the other responses that warn you to be very mindful of anything you post on social media, as well as choose your friends carefully. FBI Agents are expected to maintain the highest standards of conduct with honesty, so work on building your own good character by making smart choices and doing the right thing. Don’t do drugs, don’t break the law, study hard to get good grades. You need to be physically fit (able to pass tests involving sit ups, push ups, pull ups & running), and you will also need a valid driver’s license.
You also need to have a 4 year college degree, and be at least 23 years old (and under 36). Your college major can be just about anything - The FBI hires agents through several programs, including Science/Technology, Engineering, Math, Law, Language, Accounting, former military/law enforcement, Education/teaching, Cyber security, and Healthcare. After college, you should have at least 2 years of work experience in whatever field you have chosen.
The application process generally takes about 1 year from initial application, if you are accepted. The hiring process involves several steps, including a background investigation (they will interview references, former roommates, work colleagues, former neighbors, etc.), a psychological exam, a physical/medical exam, a personal interview with Special Agents, and a physical fitness test, among other things. You’re smart to start thinking about things now, so you can prepare a solid path of integrity over several years up to the time you decide to apply. I wish you all the best Destiny and remember, dreams do come true!

As a high school student you have an awesome and honorable goal. You need to act the part starting the day you choose this path. Be very careful with the internet, social media, texts, etc. You are looking to work for one of the most prestigious law enforcement organizations in the world, they will absolutely do their homework. Keep that in mind as you become an upperclassman and have more temptations.
Stay the course!

Some other things you might want to consider about being an FBI agent may include what type of position you're trying to obtain. Typically less that 20% of applicants get hired for entry positions or career tracks so it might help to have a specialized field of knowledge. This might include knowing a language or previous experience with law enforcement.

Hi Destiny! I once helped someone with their FBI application. You first must past their security screenings which are very detailed: friends, family and associates may be interviewed about you; you must not have any criminal or drug use history; you must also pass an extremely rigorous series of physical tests. There are also a number of written applications and tests. The FBI has a detailed summary of requirements, test preparation materials at this website: https://www.fbijobs.gov/career-paths/special-agents/application-process
Good luck!
