This may depend to some extent on how well thought of the Pharmacy schools in your state are; are they highly ranked versus the out of state schools that you are considering? College debt is something to seriously consider. I have been out of school for many years and cannot imagine having school loans of over $100,000 to repay, as pharmacists from Butler University that I have worked with are repaying. With a degree from any university, you will find a job. Why do you want to go out of state? Weigh you options carefully, the pros and cons. Best of Luck!

Lori’s Answer

I don't think that it is worth the extra money to go to an out of state college. Pharmacy school is very expensive already without adding on extra expenses. Unless you have your heart set on a particular school, I would remain in state.
