That is awesome you want to become a surgeon! Each surgery is different, so each time there are new difficulties. For example, if you have a really small patient sometimes it is hard to get the organ you need to fix in sight. After you have been a surgeon for a while, you will be able to suture, open and close the patient without trouble. The difficulties that occur in surgery are normally unexpected, so you must be able to think quickly and appropriately. I recommend shadowing a surgeon for a week during your break.
