Does a dental hygienist make there own schedule.

I would like to go into the dental field. But would also like to have my own life since you go to school for a very long time. #dental-hygienist

I would say no, dental hygienists don't make their own schedule. However, I know a couple who work four days per week. They follow same hours as a dentist, around 8-5.

No, a Dental Hygienist doesn’t usually make up their own patient schedule as it is something their office or front desk does.
However, a Dental Hygienist could make their own work schedule depending on how many days they prefer to work.
