What is an average day like as an ophthalmologist?
For me, it’s important I know what my day is going to look like before I start it, so I’m curious what a day of being an ophthalmologist is like. Does anything unpredictable happen? #ophthalmologist #medicine

Most of the time ophthalmologist have predictable schedules working in the office or operating room from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00p.m. They do have to take emergency call for traumatic eye injuries and emergencies such as detached retinas. However, most of the time they deal with patients with scheduled exams/procedures/surgeries.
