In short, you need a 4 year college degree followed by 4 years medical school.
Pediatrics residency is 3 years, but you will receive a salary during these years as a doctor in training.
In college, your major is not as important as your undergraduate grades, your MCAT score, your letters of reference, and your personal statements on your medical school application. For now, just focus on finding a college that fits you and your budget and a major that really interests you in college so that you will make great grades and get strong letters of recommendation from professors that recognize your potential.
Good luck!

In order to become a pediatrician, you will have to attend college/earn:
4 year Bachelor's degree
4 year medical school degree (MD or DO)
3 year pediatric residency (although you will have already gradated medical school, this is necessary to be a practicing physician in the US. You will also be making the salary of a resident and not a physician during these years (~50k))
