Mariam’s Answer
Being with the actual doctor took about 15-20 minutes depending on the situation. Most checkups last about an hour but that could be the nurses coming in and out of the room to do their assigned tasks for the patient. There could be a time where a nurse does tests and/or she would take blood or give a shot to the patient.

Hi Kailey! It could depend, sometimes the doctor can be busy with other patients as well and you may have to wait and sometimes there could be other things that will also have to be done like vaccination and physical check ups that could take longer. I think a typical check up can take time anywhere from 15 minutes to sometimes an hour.

Most of my kid's checkups lasted about an hour, but most of that time was waiting for the Dr. while nurses and aids did prep work and height/weight measurements. Nurses would also do shots and other tests like hearing and vision. Actual time with a Dr. in the room varied from 15-30mins.
