A great resource for researching salary ranges is Glassdoor.com. How much am individual makes is dependent on a lot of different factors like their training, years of experience, areas of expertise, what organization they work for, what responsibilities they have beyond their day-to-day job and more. A salary range on Glassdoor can be refined by types of speciality, geography, and other filters. It will give you a better idea about salaries than any one person’s salary can. One more note: money is important but don’t ever pursue a job based on salary alone. Do it because you’re passionate about it and it aligns with your skills.

It can vary state to state as well as nursing role and institution. It can also depend on if you work with a union. Experience can make a difference between entry level pay and pay based on experience. There are different sites on the web to give you information. The state compiles data that can be accessed. Another good resource is to look at the union contracts for individual institutions in your state. Most of these can be accessed through the union website and include wage detail. State regs may vary as to whether union contracts are available to the public.
