Hello!
Chiropractors are full doctors. When applying for chiropractic school, they often require at least 90 credits of college classes with an emphasis on science, biology, etc with laboratory components.
Complete High School
Apply for and attend a community college with a focus on premed / health classes (maintain good grades!)
Finish prerequisites as needed at a university if the community college doesn't offer the course

Yes, there's a State license requirement.
The education and training will be similar to a Dr. or Nurse. However, there are only a couple of Chiropractor Colleges in TX vs. many more Medical and Nursing Schools.
