Jami’s Answer

Honestly, the salary of nurses depends on the area you are in and the type of nursing you are doing. ICU nurses get paid more than med/surg nurses because they have more certifications. Hospitals nurses generally get paid more than clinic nurses. How much you make also depends on how many hours you work. Some nurses are full time, some are part time, some are as needed, some work overtime, etc. There are a lot of considerations to think about when pursuing a career in nursing. I will say that if you want to be a nurse just for money, you really should research the field more. I do think nurses can make a decent living but being a nurse is more about compassion than money.

Ruby’s Answer

Salary is all dependent on the area you live in, the type of hospital, the credentials or degrees you have, and the experience you have in the field of choice. Most hospitals will retain quality nurses who are loyal to their employers and show growth.
