what is the average amount of money that you will start of with for being a chiropractor?

It varies drastically depending on patient volume and whether you own your practice or work for someone else. After 5 years most will typically earn between $40k-$90k if you don’t own your practice. If you own it and have a low overhead you can expect to make more. But there are a lot of variables to include the average income of the area you work.

According to https://www.salary.com/research/salary/benchmark/chiropractor-salary it's $152,083 but https://money.usnews.com/careers/best-jobs/chiropractor/salary says $71,410 which is in line with https://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Chiropractor/Salary. I assume the difference will be around years of experience and location.
Considering that the costs and length of education are similar, it would make much more sense economically to be become a Dr. who'd earn significantly more.
