William’s Answer

Mechanics class at JVS. My grandson took mechanics class there and it helped him later on in landscaping. He started working on the machinery used for landscaping. There were so many types of machinery that he had to learn how to fix them. He also learned about diesel and hydraulics and how to work on them. He started an apprenticeship with the company and got paid for it. He became one of their lead mechanics and was give a truck to go to sites where machines broke down. He would either fix them in the field or collect the pieces and take them back to the shop to work on them.
The ever evolving auto will be a constant challenge with the new technologies such as the hybrids, natural gas, and even solar powered. Somebody is going to have to know how to fix these kinds of vehicles.

Nayeli’s Answer

Depending on what you like and want to do with the cars.
You can help to create them and be in the manufacture process or been in the design process or in the back ground just analyzing data and numbers.
There are mechanical engineers, sensor engineers, electronic engineers, industrial engineers, process engineers, and more.

Even if you don't like the engineering, you can apply to the career marketing, economics, accounting, laws, statistics, interior or exterior designers, and then work for a car manufacture.

When you have the focus, find a school that can have everything you need to work on what you love about cars and always remember that you need the bachelor degree to work in a great automotive industry.
