Hello Maiya,
It's great that you're looking for scholarships! Some tips I would give would be to not limit yourself to just medical scholarships. Look for anything that fits your skills and apply to as many scholarships as you can! There are also some really good corporate scholarships like Coca Cola Scholars, Burger King Scholars, and so on which do give substantial awards so maybe look into those! There are also creative writing and arts scholarships such as the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards that give out scholarships as prizes so maybe look into those if your skills match. Some of these also integrate scientific topics with creative writing and art so it could be great for you! I would also recommend looking into local scholarships offered by entities in your town because these might be less competitive even though their amounts can be smaller. Best of luck to you!!
