In today's society, being a specialist or a family medicine practicioner, which is more suitable?

I am asking this question because I am planning on becoming a medical doctor but I am not sure if I want to specialize or practice family medicine. #medicine #family-medicine

In medical school, you will have exposure to different specialities that will help you decide whether you would prefer to specialize or be a family practice physician. I would encourage you to do what you love as medicine is a rewarding and challenging field. Take time to decide. I grew up telling everyone I wanted to deliver babies. When I did my rotation in medical school delivering babies, I didn't like it at all and fell in love with family practice.

Good luck with everything!
