Darin’s Answer
It really depends on the company you work for. Every company pays different hourly and salary wages.
According to payscale.com though "An entry-level Custodian with less than 1 year experience can expect to earn an average total compensation (includes tips, bonus, and overtime pay) of $11.16 based on 146 salaries. An early career Custodian with 1-4 years of experience earns an average total compensation of $11.83 based on 1,502 salaries. A mid-career Custodian with 5-9 years of experience earns an average total compensation of $12.40 based on 896 salaries. An experienced Custodian with 10-19 years of experience earns an average total compensation of $13.29 based on 977 salaries. In their late career (20 years and higher), employees earn an average total compensation of $14."

Hi Daniel,
I co-sign Darin's answer and would like to add it also depends on your location - you may make more in larger cities and/or have more opportunities. In larger Texas cities the pay is $10-$15 per hour but if you also have some handyman skills you can easily increase your pay and have more opportunities with larger companies and government positions.
Good luck!
