What are the best schools in Ohio to become an Occupational Therapist?

Hi, my name is Maddy and I'm a sophmore in high school. I plan to work hard in my studies so that I can achieve the future that I desire, however there are so many colleges in Northeast Ohio that it's hard to see what schools are the best for my interests. If anyone could recommend schools in Ohio that are best for Occupational Therapists and health service professionals in general ity would be greatly appreciated. #college #health #education

Hi Maddy,

Great choice in future occupation! For Northeast Ohio, your two best choices are going to be Cleveland State and The Ohio State University. These schools are ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) certified and provide Master's and Doctoral Degree opportunities. Both schools will set you up to obtain your state accreditation in OT. In Ohio, students also have their own state Occupational Therapy Association, the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association (OOTA).
