How much money would it cost to become a Horse Trainer?

I'm in 8th grade. I have a class called career and technology. My teacher is having us do a project and we are asking questions about what we would like to do when we are older. #horses #horses trainer

According to https://agexplorer.com/career/horse-trainer-instructor#:~:text=Education%2FTraining%20Required%3A,more%20familiar%20with%20training%20horses. an associate degree in equine science or equine studies would help you get that job.

MSU has several https://www.canr.msu.edu/ans/overview/species/equine-programs options but is more expensive @ $25,000/y. If you can find a community college that cost will likely be $5,000-10,000.

I suspect that many trainers have gotten that job by working with horses and learning on the job. You'd need to get an entry level job such as a ranch hand to get your foot in the door. This would be the lowest cost option but may take longer.
