Do you have to have a certain GPA/grades to get into nursing school?

Nursing is something that had always been a must for me because it's a career that I've been wanting to do since high school. #school

To become an RN, you can do either:
2 year Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
or
4 years for your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Either Degree you will have to take the NCLEX-RN exam (you take this exam after you graduate)
BSN programs often set the minimum GPA at 3.0, and ADN programs sometimes have a lower GPA requirement (2.5-2.8)
Good luck!

Hi Arabella! In addition to the previous response, I believe that as a high school student you can also apply to nursing school. In high school you must have a certain GPA to apply to nursing school, if you are still a high school student definitely get in touch with your counselor and start searching for this option. It will take you from high school to the BSN program than rather do college first and then apply to nursing school.

Best of luck!
