Do I need a permit to run a deer ranch

I am worried about starting one if i need a permit or not.#farming

Yes, you will need a license from the state, and will usually have to meet certain fencing and zoning requirements. In Michigan, the DNR will inspect the finished facilities before you can put deer in it to make sure no wild deer are at risk, also the DEQ comes out to make sure any animal waste is not impacting streams and rivers.
